I'm Fran Canete, frontend developer, business enthusiast and lifelong learner based in Manchester.
Passionate about how businesses can create useful solutions to improve people's lives. I find learning and implementing new technologies a fantastic tool to achieve this goal, creating new web applications that solve real-life problems.
Most of my projects are based on React.js since it is one of the best technologies to build rich UI that allow me to build powerful customer-centric solutions. I also spend part of my time expanding my skills learning backend technologies like Node.js and Express.js with the long-term goal of becoming a full-stack developer able to design powerful applications from the ground up.
In my spare time, you can find me taking long walks in nature, running, and enjoying one of my favourite hobbies, podcasting.
Cryptocurrency Tracker
In this project, I am calling a public API using the Axios library to get all the necessary data in the application. to get all the necessary data in the application.
The data can be updated after 60 seconds via the update button, making a new API call and displaying the updated results.

Flickr Photo Gallery
This application connects to the Flickr API and accesses its database of photos. The user can perform a search and get results for a specific search term.
I added React Route to display the searches and a "Not Found" page to handle 404 errors.

Star Wars Battle
Using the Star Wars API I added some logic to face 2 random characters from the saga that will appear in battle! Whoever has the tallest height wins.
I built this project using React and Axios as an API library to get all the necessary data. May the code be with you!
